10.We have a Rikejo(Science girl) from Indonesia!

For this edition, we interviewed Hasti , an international student studying in the special education program of International River Basin Environmental Science, Interdisciplinary Graduate School of Medicine and Engineering.

This is our first interview with a student from overseas in “IMADOKI! Students”!

There are many international students studying in this university, and Hasty is from Indonesia.

She might be small in stature, but she is full of energy!
Having met with such a bright and cute lady,
I was so curious to hear what she does at this university!
Also she gave us a surprise later in the interview!

We talked over lunch.
Now let’s get started the interview!

QCompared to Indonesia, winter in Japan is really cold, isn’t it?

A:  Yes, it is indeed.
I had a strange impression when I saw snow for the very first time.  I finally knew what it was like.
I was rather calm but my brother was very excited to see snow for the first time
when he visited me here last time.  (I see!  You don’t have snow inIndonesia.)
I was only feeling cold…(weep)

QWhat is your favorite thing to do?

A:  I love taking pictures of beautiful things.
Especially those with beautiful contrasting colors.
Can you guess where this was taken?

It’s Kofu station! ^^
(Wow, are you sure??  It doesn’t look like it.)

The area around the station is my favorite spot to take pictures.
I have taken many pictures there.

Here is another one.

 (Yeah, beautiful♪)

Don’t you like this one, too?

(It can be used in a catalog!)

I also like this one.  It’s beautiful, isn’t it?

(Σ(・ω・ノ)ノ!!!  It’s a IZAKAYA(Japanese style bar), Ginji, in front of the station. (lol) )

Yeah, actually.
This paper lantern is really Japanese style.
It must be so unique to foreign people.

The next interview will be continued with Ms.Hasti with her research-topic.
Stay tuned!
