The “Seeing Sculptures Through Hands Exhibition 2014” to be held! (Sponsored by University of Yamanashi and Yamanashi Prefectural University)


The “Seeing Sculptures Through Hands Exhibition 2014”, sponsored by University of Yamanashi and Yamanashi Prefectural University, will take place as follows.

Sculptures by teaching staffs and students from the universities’ art major, and by special artists will be presented at this exhibition. What makes this exhibition so special is that you can actually touch and feel the sculptures!

Autumn is said to be the best season for art appreciation. Why not enjoy the season by visiting this exhibition?

*Reservations for the following workshop is presently closed. Please note that they are no longer accepting any workshop reservations.

A workshop will be held for toddlers and elementary school children on the last day of the exhibit.

The children will have the opportunity to create a plaster relief. By placing their handprint or footprint on the relief, the participants will be able to make a growth record memento.

Participation is free and the plaster relief can be taken home on the day.

Parents who are visiting with their children are very much welcomed to participate in the workshop.
